| To check your CEU* status, go to the
insurance commissioner's website.
Choose "Agent"
from the pull-down menu and click on "Agent Status".
You may also select "Education Providers" to select a
company that offers continuing education courses, or pre-licensing property
and casualty courses. |
| Adjusters must have 15 hours of continuing education credits per year. After being licensed for 20+ years, only 10 hours are required. Three (3) of those must be in Ethics, whether 15 or 10 are required. Ethics hours carry over as "generic" and do not satisfy the new annual requirement. Classes must be related to the property/casualty line in which you are licensed. Some health related classes are acceptable for workers' compensation adjusters. Contact the Insurance Commissioner's Office with any questions.
